Capture website leads straight into the CRM

Embed a published web form on your site. Visitors submit from your page or embed; each submission creates a Contact (or any target object) with mapped fields — ready for Operations and Live Views the moment marketing hands off.

Leads land while interest is warm

Embed once; Operations picks up from there.

Inbound leads die in inbox threads when nobody copies them into the CRM before standup. A form on your landing page writes structured records while interest is still warm.

Marketing keeps the embed; sales works the same records in Operations. No parallel spreadsheet, no end-of-day import ritual.

  • Embed on any site

Copy the publish snippet to your landing page or CMS.

  • Maps to your objects

Target Contacts, Deals, or custom objects per form.

  • Immediate CRM records

Submissions create records — no manual re-entry.

Setup

Publish a form in Setup

Create the form, map inputs to object fields, customize copy, publish.

  • One object type per form — Contacts for typical lead capture
  • Reorder fields to control the public layout
  • Hosted link plus embed snippet

Embed

Embed on the marketing site

Paste the snippet on landing pages, pricing pages, or event sign-up flows.

  • Works on static sites, WordPress, Webflow, and custom stacks
  • Submissions log shows what arrived and when
  • Updating mapping does not delete past records

Ops

Work leads in Operations

New records appear in search, Live Views, and follow-up workflows immediately.

  • Assign stage or owner in chat after submission
  • Pin a Live View of this week’s inbound leads
  • Pair with webhooks if marketing automation also needs the payload

Quality

Permissions and quality

Ensure create access on the target object; agree on field requirements to reduce incomplete leads.

  • Required fields in the form map to required CRM fields
  • Permission profiles gate who sees new records after capture
  • Review submissions log for spam or test entries

Short answers before you request access.

Do I need a developer to embed the form?
No. Publish in Setup → Web forms and paste the embed snippet. Most CMS and static site builders accept a script or iframe embed.
Can one form create Deals instead of Contacts?
Yes. Select the target object when creating the form. Map fields accordingly — e.g. deal name, amount, and a lookup to Contact if needed.
How is this different from the Web Forms feature page?
Web Forms explains the product capability. This use case is the job of turning website traffic into workable CRM records.
What if we also use a marketing automation tool?
Web forms write directly to OSTRATA. Add outbound webhooks or Zapier via the API when external systems need the same submission event.
